The Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has today announced it will be offering pregnant women the COVID-19 vaccine, in line with the vaccine roll out plan for the UK.

The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Lynsay Coventry, a midwife at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. Lynsay had tested positive for Covid-19 and died on Thursday [2 April].
