RCM says farewell to Louise Silverton

After 24 years at the RCM, Louise Silverton CBE has stepped down from her post as director for midwifery.

A treasured member of the RCM staff, Louise has played a pivotal role in improving midwifery care and promoting evidence-based practice.

The organisation is proud of her many and wide-ranging achievements for the midwifery profession and would like to thank Louise for her unfaltering dedication and long service. 

The RCM looks forward to continuing to work with Louise in the future with the exciting opportunities she chooses to pursue in this next chapter in her life.
