Entries for the RCM annual midwifery awards 2019 are open until 14 September.

The awards, which have been running since 2004, celebrate and reward the outstanding achievements and work being carried out in midwifery across the UK.

Individuals and teams, as well as projects, are recognised for the difference they make to women, newborns and their families. 

The RCM welcomes entries from all members and is keen to reflect the full diversity of membership. It is free and simple to enter – find out how here.

There are 13 categories including student midwife of the year and MSW of the year to the leadership award and bereavement care award.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place on 5 March 2019 at The Brewery in London.
