Team RCM Cavell’s Benevolent Fund Snowdon Climb

Team RCM, a group of RCM staff, activists and members are climbing Mount Snowdon on 10th October 2020 to raise funds for the RCM Benevolent Fund (Cavell Trust).

The RCM Benevolent Fund provides much needed financial support for midwives and maternity support workers (MSWs) facing financial hardship. In the last year we have helped midwives escaping domestic violence, MSWs on long term sick and single mum’s who are risk of being made homeless. This RCM charity is funded by donations – mainly from you. To raise money a team of RCM staff are joining the Cavell Nurses Trust climb Snowdon in October this year. According to the Runner’s World website – climbing to the top of Snowdon is equivalent to a flight of stairs with 4,610 steps – and we’ve got to come back down too! Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could raise £1 for every step?
