MIDIRS Midwifery Digest is the quarterly journal of evidence-based original articles, reprints, clinical reflections, practice improvements and in-depth discussion of topical issues.
The Digest supports practising midwives, student midwives, MSWs and other health professionals caring for women, babies and their families during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period to further their professional academic development and improve practice and outcomes.
The MIC database is a midwifery-specific bibliographic database, containing over 300,000 records drawn from more than 400 information sources. Continuously updated, with around 100 new records added each day, the database includes a wide range of grey literature drawn from information sources not typically well represented in other indexing databases.
In addition, the Library and Information team are available to offer first-hand help with searching either by phone, email or through the online chat service, and can conduct bespoke literature searches for a discounted fee.
Literature Search Packs are continually updated and free to subscribers, these ready prepared literature search packs contain all relevant material held on the Maternity and Infant Care database on a particular topic, saving time and effort.
