North Bristol Branch Ukraine donation

Supporting the people of the Ukraine.

The RCM have joined with other trade unions across the world to condemn the invasion of Ukraine. North Bristol branch like many of us we have been watching the media over the last few weeks has been showing the people of Ukraine are living under the most horrendous conditions and a recent report about a maternity hospital being targeted is particularly distressing. North Bristol branch were spurred into action just imagining the conditions our colleagues in Mariupol were working under.

The Branch have donated £500 of their Branch funds to the Ukraine appeal and members have donated an additional £255 in  personal donations. The money was donated  to the British Red Cross, through Tesco, as they have pledged to match any donations received.
