York and Scarborough branch celebrate 2023

RCM Branches IDM - International Day of the Midwife

York and Scarborough celebrated IDM 2023 with foods from our multinational colleagues. With food from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Ghana, Philippines, Lebanon, India, Greece, Trinidad, Turkey, Poland, Mauritius and Japan as well as amazing cakes and a lovely cup of tea, it truly was a flavour filled adventure. Gifts were given from the senior Team, the RCM and Unison and our tea rounds were performed by Sue Glendenning, Lucy Flateley and Briony Guilliat at York, With Megan Simpson, Jane Tyler and Krishna De from patient experience over at Scarborough.

It was a busy day for all who were working at both sites, so some new foods and treats were most welcome.
