ABUHB deliver marathon of tea parties

In celebration of IDM, ABUHB Branch Officers and Reps have worked together to deliver a Marathon of tea parties across all sites throughout IDM week for all staff on all shift patterns.  Every member if not able to enjoy at the time were provided with picnic boxes to take their goodies away with them to enjoy later.  

We wanted to show staff that we care for them and appreciate them and all they do, and have done, in what has been such a difficult year with Covid and the Health Board’s structure changing, resulting in immense pressure for all staff and Management.  We also provided small personalised gifts for all staff of chocolates on thank you cards. 

It has had an amazing result and staff have been so appreciative resulting in a subsequent celebration and showing an increased interest in the RCM.  As a Branch, we have struggled to fill roles and engage members, but this years IDM has truly resulted in celebrations in more than one way and can only mean good things for the members, branch and service.
