Enter the RCM competition to attend the 32nd ICM Triennial Congress

The RCM is offering one full member and one student midwife member the opportunity to win free registration and £1500 to support flight and accommodation costs to attend The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) Triennial Congress in Bali in June 2020 as its official blogging partner.

The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) Triennial Congress is one of the largest international events in midwifery, attracting midwives from all over the world from over 80 countries.

The next 32nd Triennial Congress will take place in Bali, Indonesia, from 21-25 June 2020, and will be focusing on the theme of ‘Midwives of the world: delivering the future’. The Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) will ensure the warmest welcome, as will the people of Bali.

The winners will be required to attend a specified number of events throughout the week* (to be confirmed after successful selection) and produce a series of blogs detailing learning outcomes from sessions and reflecting on their ICM experience which will be disseminated via the RCM social media platforms.

Winners will also be required to attend the official opening ceremony and RCM drinks reception

Full Member:
Registration to ICM Bali (£637)
£1500 towards flight and hotel for 5 nights (£1500)
Total £2137

Student Member:
Registration ( £290)
£1500 towards flight and hotel for 5 nights (£1500)
Total £1790

To be eligible applicants must be a current member of the RCM and confident in using social media and blogging platforms.
